Ahead of the debate on the referral of the Prime Minister to the Privileges Committee, Sir Charles Walker urges the Prime Minister to make his case to the Committee without the need for a debate in the House of Commons.

Sir Charles Walker urges to Government to ruthlessly target the barriers that stop people giving up smoking so that we can reach the target of being “smoke-free”, that is 5% or less of the adult population smoking, by 2030.

Sir Charles Walker welcomes the Government’s support for an amendment that he co-sponsored with the Rt Hon Theresa May to ensure that mental health has parity with physical health for measures relating to this Bill.
